Welcome to the Winter 2022 Wild Things Registration!

 

This registration session allows you to sign up for our Wild Things Program and submit payment. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available.  Following completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account from Western WA Female.


Winter Wild Things

Months: December 2022 - March 2023

Location: Kraken Community Iceplex - Seattle, WA

 

Prerequisite:

  • None! Our excellent coaches will help your player to learn to skate and play!

Description:

The focus and goal of Wild Things is to get girls ready to join a hockey team in a positive and supportive all-girl environment. It consists of small groups of players on the ice with similar skill levels. Wild Things encourages high activity through fun, station based practices and games. Girls are encouraged to join their age-groups one additional day per week (when they are ready) for practice to prepare them to move onto a league team.

Day / Time:

  • Sundays at 9:00am (60 min class)

  • Dates:

    • December 11th, 18th

    • January 8th, 22nd, 29th

    • February 5th, 12th, 26th

    • March 5, 12th

  • NO Class December 25th, Jan 1st, Jan 15th, Feb 19th (holiday breaks)

  • Duration: 10 sessions

Gear:

  • Must provide own gear

Registration Cost/Requirements:

  • Cost: $350

  • USA Hockey Membership / insurance paid online prior to registration via USA Hockey website
    • Each player must have their own USA Hockey number to complete this online registration 
    • Players may join at any time on a space available basis at a discounted fee.
    • Players frequently join the programs after the beginning of sessions and are slotted in with players of similar abilities.

USA Hockey Requirement

Each player must first register with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to sign up for the 2021 Learn to Play Program.

  • Step 1:  CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have her own, unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
  • Step 2:  Return to this page and proceed with registration. You will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1 later in this registration session.

HOCKEY EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

Required Gear:

  • Hockey helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, pants, shin guards, skates, hockey socks, a hockey stick and hockey bag to carry gear

The Play-It-Again Sports store in Lynnwood offers new and used kids gear for sale, and the Pure Hockey store at Alderwood Mall has new gear.
